Let’s start with push notifications first!
The idea was for the iPhone app to send notifications to its users based on a specific trigger. For example, a Facebook app notification is sent when someone likes your post, or Podcast notifications are sent when your favorite podcast shows have new episodes, and so on.
You know that little red circle on the app icon on your phone? That’s a push notification.
I’m sure you know what I’m talking about.
The same thing goes for browsers and desktops. Chrome is one of the big players in the push notification market. If you browse the internet using Chrome, you must have seen at least one website asking you to allow push notifications for them to send you news or something.
Push notification ads – also known as “Push traffic” and “Push ads”
Oh simple! Instead of the app sending you a notification about something you care about, they are sending you an advertisement.

How much budget do you need to test?
This is also another hard question; however, I’ll tell you what I’m doing.
For offers that have payouts of less than $3, my testing budget is usually 20 times the payout amount. For example, if the offer payout is $2, my testing budget will be $40.
For offers that have payouts of more than $3, my testing budget is only 10 times the payout amount. This is mainly for Nutra, e-commerce and COD offers.
However, you can increase the testing budget if you have a solid offer.
